NEW: PCI Pavifix CEM Rapid
PCI Augsburg GmbH has expanded the Pavifix product family: besides the approved cement-based joint grout for pavements PCI Pavifix CEM there is now available a new, rapid setting product variant named PCI Pavifix CEM Rapid.
The one-part material is especially suitable to grout areas made of natural stone flags such as polygonal flags on private terraces and garden areas. The grout is applied by pouring it into the joints. PCI Pavifix CEM Rapid can also be used for grouting mosaic, small sett and large sett pavement made of natural stone - in bonded construction. In this case the grout is applied in the elutriation method and the surfaces can be cleaned after 35 minutes. If the material is poured into the joints the surplus can be removed and/or the joint cleaned after 20 minutes. Independent from the applied method areas grouted with PCI Pavifix CEM Rapid are rainproof and walkable after two hours and able to bear weight after three days.
PCI Pavifix CEM Rapid is self-levelling and cures without shrinking. The possible joint width is between 5 and 80 mm. The joint grout is impermeable to water and resistant to frost – de-icing salt, highly wear resistant and permanently resistant to weathering and mechanical loads. It withstands a pressure of up to 120 bar when using high-pressure cleaners.
