The new PCI Kraftkleber eco...

...without MDI, without solvents, without ban on self-service

The single-component construction adhesive PCI Kraftkleber is now also available as PCI Kraftkleber eco version.
It is not only free of solvents and water, but also MDI free. MDI is the short term for diphenylmethane-diisocyanate, a chemical compound which is an essential raw material for numerous products such as polyurethane, polyamide-imide and a major part of adhesives.

According to a decision by the European commission, effective from 1 December 2010, MDI containing adhesives (MDI proportion >1 %) may no longer be easily accessible on the shelf, but must be kept locked up.

The formulation of the new PCI Kraftkleber eco is free from MDI and, therefore, not subject to self-service ban. Consequently, it is suitable for the retail trade as a construction adhesive, and best of all, its performance profile is as powerful as that of the customary PCI Kraftkleber.

The new PCI Kraftkleber eco is available from April 2011.
