The ceramic-like joint grout PCI Geofug® bonds with the tile ceramic to form a homogeneous, extremely resistant surface especially resistant to acid household detergents. This was tested and approved by the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, Holzkirchen.
Cementitious joints are damaged by the permanent use of acid household detergents resulting in becoming crumble and dirty much faster.

"In the past, cementitious joints with severe exposure to acid household cleaning products needed to be replaced at regular intervals, which boosted operating expenses. That is now a thing of the past thanks to PCI Geofug® with innovative geopolymer technology – a good investment that minimises operating expenses, both for cleaning and in terms of rehabilitation intervals."
