Geopolymers are inorganic minerals closely related to natural stones. Like stones, geopolymers are extraordinarily durable and very hard. Their structure consists of mineral components, like ceramic tiles.

Because of their molecular design and the use of selected raw materials, geopolymers offer the developers at PCI a wide variety of possibilities. For example, it was possible to develop the joint grout PCI Geofug^®, featuring a hygienic surface that virtually cleans itself, on the basis of geopolymers. Thanks to ideally adapted utilisation properties, geopolymer technology makes it possible to create functional surfaces offering real additional benefits to users.
