In the Walldorf-Süd development area, 44 concrete terraced houses were newly built by the Epple Group. In order to achieve a low-cost new construction variant and, above all, a short construction time, the complete wall and floor structures were made of precast concrete parts. With the exception of two drywalls in the bathrooms, the laying surfaces for wall and floor tiles consisted of smooth concrete that was less than three months old. The company Fliesen und Natursteine Laier from Wiesloch-Baiertal was commissioned to carry out the tiling work.
