Areas of application
PCI CK 310 Kero-Trenn allows the environmentally compatible production of concrete members with a uniform and pore-free surface. As the concrete is not stained, the resulting fair-faced concrete will have an optimum appearance. Special corrosion-inhibiting and preservative additives prevent corrosion of steel formwork and rotting of timber formwork. PCI CK 310 Kero-Trenn is suitable for use with all common types of formwork such as wood, plastic, metal or templates. PCI Kero-Trenn prevents mortar and concrete from adhering to construction equipment, trucks and fittings. Does not leave any wax or paraffin residues which could impair the adhesion of plaster, paint or adhesive to the concrete surface after the formwork has been removed.
Fresh wood should be coated with cement paste in order to prevent damage to the concrete surface, especially when it is used for the first time. The cement layer should then be brushed off the next day.
After formwork removal, the concrete surface has few pores and corresponds to the surface of the formwork.
PCI CK 310 Kero-Trenn contains corrosion inhibitors and is water-repellent. It protects treated formwork against weathering and corrosion.
